The mission of Pathway to Work is to prepare adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities for sustainable, integrated work opportunities through the provision of individualized support, training, and resources. Pathway to Work's Program is designed to provide individuals with disabilities opportunities for community inclusion through structured, goal-based programming and support.
Our goals and vision are to increase community integration, expand life skills, and promote employment outcomes consistent with an individual’s preferences, strengths and interests, provide high quality supportive training using research based methods, develop and coordinate resources for individuals and their families, and to educate the community and businesses regarding the mutual benefits of employing individuals with developmental disabilities.
Our policy applies to all Pathway to Work Board of Directors, employees, volunteers, members, contractors, and program participants and their representatives. Pathway to Work follows an equal opportunity employment and participation policy and employs personnel and selects participants without regard to race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, pregnancy and childbirth or related medical conditions, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, disability, veteran status, military obligations, and marital status. This policy also applies to internal promotions, training, opportunities for advancement, terminations, outside vendors, members and customers, program participants, use of contractors and consultants, and dealings with the general public.
